Our team of experienced, patient instructors is the best in their field with a combined 140+ years of experience. We offer private tutoring, group classes, conversation groups, grammar workshops, summer school programs for kids, custom homeschool programs, group classes and more that cater to learning language specific to use in your profession and beyond. We carefully curate a calendar of 160+ hours a month of opportunities to practice your Spanish skills.

BEX
Bex is the founder and director of Spanish Learning Network. Her degrees in Spanish, Education and Linguistics come from the University of San Diego and she has taught Spanish in preschools, elementary, middle, and high schools. In 2003, she began teaching private classes for adults that eventually grew into Spanish Learning Network. She lived and taught Spanish in Ohio, California, Chile, and Honduras before moving to Colorado.
Experience: 21 years
ANDREA
Andrea was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and now lives in Southern California. Andrea is passionate about teaching Spanish and Hispanic culture. She obtained a BA degree in English from Instituto Lenguas Vivas in Argentina. She continued her education in Linguistics and Spanish in California State University, Chico and Arizona State University. She also attended classes at the Universidad de Salamanca, Universidad de Barcelona and the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

EMILY
Emily teaches many of our advanced Spanish classes from her home in Mexico City, Mexico. She has her B.A. in Spanish literature and language and a secondary teaching certification from CU Boulder. She has been teaching at some capacity since 2012, either teaching Spanish here in beautiful Colorado or teaching English in Madrid, Spain.

JENNIFER
Jennifer is Lead Teacher for our Adult programming and a National Board Certified teacher of Spanish with experience at all levels from elementary school to college. She has been fortunate to live abroad in both Mexico and Spain, and has traveled throughout Guatemala, Chile, Cuba and Uruguay where she was a part of the Fulbright Teacher Exchange program. When not traveling, she teaches from just outside of Bend, Oregon.
Experience: 22 years
MIRIAN
Mirian (or "Mili," as we like to call her) moved to the United States from Honduras in 2015. She holds degrees in ESL and Spanish as well as a Masters in TESOL. She has been teaching with Spanish Learning Network since 2019 and holds an important role as our Summer Camp director. When she isn't teaching, she can be found cuddling with her sweet Schnauzer, Mia.
Experience: 12 years
CATERINA
Caterina has a passion for empowering others to reach their language goals and speak with confidence. She has a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Lewis & Clark College and spent nearly three years living and teaching in South America, most recently as a Fulbright scholar in Colombia. Caterina also works with K-12 students in the Denver-metro area at the Clyfford Still Museum and the Museo de las Américas.

austin
Austin is a lifelong language learner and teacher determined to help others reach their goals of fluency. He began his own language journey many years ago when he lived abroad in Costa Rica. From there, he pursued language studies at Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado where he earned a B.A. in Spanish and French. He is currently living and traveling around South America making content for his YouTube channel, "Austin Relates."

gabriela
Gabriela is from Lima, Perú and holds degrees in Education and Spanish instruction. She teaches both English and Spanish and enjoys working with children as well as adults. In her free time, she loves to read and dance, spend time with her 6 year old son, and attend her Spanish book club.

pedro
Pedro was born in Venezuela and now lives in Colorado with his wife and two daughters. He is a geographer with a major in GIS, but enjoys teaching Spanish and sharing about both Latin American and Spaniard culture. Pedro was an amateur triathlon champion (a long long time ago) and he misses the Caribbean beaches, but also enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountains.

MAYA
Maya is the Director of Children’s Programming at Spanish Learning Network and has worked with preschool-college students. She learned Spanish at home from her Chilean mother and completed a French immersion program, continuing her studies through college. She has experience teaching classes, private tutoring, and working at language camps, but her best experience has been her time as a student. Using her time in various educational settings, she provides the best tips, tricks, and tools to learn Spanish or French. She completed her B.A. in Spanish and French at Regis University.

Claire
Claire has been a Language and Art educator for the past 11 years. With a BA in Spanish and minor in Education Studies, she has taught French, Spanish, ELL, and Visual Art to students as young as two-years old through 12th grade. She has a profound love of travel and has lived and/or worked in Belgium, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Honduras, Costa Rica, Chile, and Argentina; along with a number of states within the US. When she is not combining her love of languages and art in her classes, she prefers to explore the outdoors with her hound/mountain cur mix, Chili, often with a watercolor set in tow to capture the beauty of the world around her.
